I'm in the kc area as well. Oddly, my brother recently bought a 2018 xl sport 4x4 with the 5.0, he hasn't had any problems yet, but only a few thousand miles. I have 2 issues the transmission is slipping in cold weather, it shifts rough in all weather and it seems to rev at times. Every used car for sale comes with a free carfax report.
